Located 145kms west of Rockhampton (North Queensland), Woorabinda is home to the Wadja Wadja/Wadjigal people. Woorabinda was established between 1926 and 1927 and received “Deed in Grant of Trust” (DOGIT) in 1985, establishing the Woorabinda Aboriginal Council at that time.

In 2016-2017 Creative Tracks partnered with Wadja Wadja State High School delivering our workshops as part of their arts and culture curriculum. We also supported the community’s young people in the development and execution of their Woorabinda Youth Festival. Check out our highlights video!
